There are a lot of reasons people ride bikes. Some prefer to commute to work on bikes to save on gas and squeeze in some daily exercise, while others may ride for fun or fitness. If you live in the Midwest, then you know what it's like riding into the wind. It pretty much blows! Yes, pun intended. The other day I went out for a training ride and the winds were straight out of the south at a sustained 20 mph with gust of 30 mph. As I was riding south down 1st street at a blinding 12 mph average I got to thinking, what's tougher, climbing hills or riding into the wind?

I decided to try out the oval shaped chainrings on my Venge. I was upgrading the entire bike to Dura Ace and putting on new carbon wheels and figured, what the heck, why not! I'll put a few hundred miles on them and then I'll come back here and let you guys know what I think.

Interesting looking cockpit, but where do I put my hands? Check out Canyon's new gravel bike, the Grail CF SLX Disc 8.0 Di2. People thought the Specialized’s Future Shock was a wild design choice but this thing looks CRAZY! Who knows, maybe it will catch on. What do you think?
